A laminate is a material that can be constructed by bringing two or more layers of material together. This can include different material combinations from a wide spectrum of flexible substrates including thin aluminum foil, film, and paper. These materials have different physical properties and varying thicknesses that combine to provide the required barrier performance. The growth of the flexible packaging industry has led to an increased need for high quality and technically demanding composite structures of flexible, printed and laminated packaging materials in roll and pouch form. They are printed on a high speed, fully automated rotogravure press with a print speed of 200 mtr/minute. The printing machine comprises the latest auto registration controls, ink pumping and turret facilities. A turnbar facility to provide registered matt effect is also avilable. A high speed combi lamination ( solvent and solventless ), 350 mtr/min inspection machine and a 400 mtr/minute centre winding slitter are also installed. Separate sections for quality control and the entire material movement is in a controlled manner.
